  • Yogen Himashi was born on Enzu, the third planet of a seven planet system in an alternate universe from the rest of the Jedi. Like most on his planet, Yogen was an Emotian. More spiritual philosophy than religion, it emphasized a fundamental connection between all things. The most basic teachings of this philosophy was that since all things were connected a person should learn/strive to be at peace, to center their inner self, and through discipline control their negative emotions so as not to negatively affect others. This discipline, for Yogen, was learned through the martial arts since his pre-adolescent years. He is competent in both armed and unarmed combat.

This discipline, for Yogen, was learned through the martial arts since his pre-adolescent years. He is competent in both armed and unarmed combat. Ever since the Mizangae Conflict and the resulting Mizumoi Resolution validated, in the eyes of many, the Emotion philosophy had spread to most Enzuin. Unlike most others however, Yogen was not content just being told the teachings, and believing them, but rather was interested in finding definitive proof. This led him down the same path as many others through out time and space in a search for answers. It led him to science. His search yielded him with the respect of not only those in the martial arts community, but also with those of his peers in the science community. An accomplished engineer and physicist, particularly in the fields on theoretical and particle physics, Yogen found his answers in the relatively new field of quantum mechanics.
