The Effective Long Legs has multi colored spindle like legs that can stab Pikmin through their entire bodies. On its legs are parasitic bugs that the Effective Long Legs can fire at its will. These parasites can grab Pikmin and send it to the Effective Long Legs making the Pikmin die from ingestion. However, there is a way to make the parasites backfire as a weapon. Each parasite has a red dot on it. Get your Purple Pikmin or any other Pikmin and throw them at the dot. This will cause them to turn white and suck out the Arachnorb's blood. This is extremely helpful as it can suck out half of the creatures health before dying. When the Effective Long Legs is aggrivated, it will bring out a stinger which will stab Pikmin and leaves them poisoned. It is advised to avoid going near the Effective Long Legs but as a sidenote, it will come towards your Pikmin if it sees you. When it finds you, you will hear a hiss. Strategies 1. * Get your Whites and throw them at this sheebeast so when they get stung and/or eaten, they will turn the tide of the battle. 2. * There is a chance of it to actually grow fangs when all of the parasitoids are dead and will eat your Pikmin. So do not change your Pikmin. 3. * Throw Purples at the Effective Long Legs as you can shock it unlike the other Arachnorbs. These and Whites are advised to help you as it has ridiculously high health. When the creature dies, it will release a stench like a Mitite would and disintegrate leaving a gooey item which is it's organs and it can make 40 Pikmin. The organ is worth 20 pokos. About the stench, it will make the Pikmin run in fear but strangely, the Pikmin will turn against you if left too long as this effects it's brain.
