The Max Headroom Incident was a broadcast hijack that took place on 22 November 1987, that interrupted some American channel and caused people to miss a rerun of the Doctor Why Live serial "The Horror of Fang Rock" starring Tim Buckley as the Doctor. It's unknown why the hijacker did this, or why he interrupted this show in particular, but there's speculation. This broadcast still looks better than some episodes of Doctor Whew, however.
