Though easily worried about much of the progress of the experiments and paranoid about the consequences of potential failures or authorities, he is constantly eager to please Alex and prove his worth. Despite his slender, nearly scrawny physique and rough appearance, Austin commands authority and respect from those around him and never backs down from any threat, even if he feels frightened himself. He seems to show mild unease about Alex's obsession with Rose and retaliation to those who slander her in any way, though he still remains loyal to Alex. Through fear or actual loyalty is unclear. When Chris and the others invaded the facility; upon Alex's request, Austin eventually released the G-10 Cerberus to kill those "less desirable". He encounters Mischa and the boy attempts to fight him. After being beaten slightly by the boy's speed, Austin removes a gun and shoots Mischa in the chest, killing the boy. This horrible act eventually reaches Ivan, who traces Austin down like a bloodhound, corners him in a room and rips him apart. Even at his dying screams, Alex watched from his monitors, unfazed by the death of his subordinate. He is portrayed by Dino Andrade.
