The Archons called on all the knowledge the Book had given them, while Geraine relied on the arcane skills he had amassed over the millennia. Neither side yielded any ground to the other. In desperation, the Archons called on the darkest power of the Book… …and were consumed by it. The Archons have lost their battle. But the war is not over.
