- Hello and welcome to my new collaborative alternate history. The PoD is simple. The Muslim invasions in the 8th century fail in the Middle-East due to civil crises and when prepared have to face the fully equipped Byzantines and Sassanids. Long story short: Practically Christianity stays strong in the East and the Visigoths and Sassanids survive, which also leads to the survival of Nestorian Church and the Apostolic Church (Unified Original Christianity).
