The Verma Stone is the object on which Seth's life and health depends. Some say it is a corrupted fragment of the Curio, but not much is known about its origins and exact functions. For a long time, Seth was extremely ill. His apprentice, Evers, asked the adventurers of Oberin to help her looking for magic stones, in order to cure Seth. No one knew which use would the stones have, and it was, at times, very hard to keep them out of the reach of the Black Hand. Evers did not seem to be very sure herself, and, before looking for her uncle Avesne, still led an experiment with a large group of wizards gathered at the Central Island. The experiment implied the use of Black Magic. Perhaps because Evers was the only mage present with some training in the darkest area of magery, they obtained no r

  • The Verma Stone is the object on which Seth's life and health depends. Perhaps because Evers was the only mage present with some training in the darkest area of magery, they obtained no results. Evers then invited the group to accompany her in the search for Avesne, living in a sealed cave in Duldrus. It was Avesne who, at the Blue Moon Festival of 431, cured Seth by recharging the Verma Stone with his latest discovery: etherite.
