Ellandra is a brunette with fire in her veins and hazel eyes that show it. She is 4th generation Imperial soldier and comes from a long line of government and military support personnel. She knows the Republic desires to yoke the universe and mold then into replicas of themselves. She desires to see that never happens. After growing up with four older brothers who went into Imperial service on their own (3 into the military and one into the government) she knew she would follow them as she had since the day she could walk. She has an affinity for most hand held weapons but needs to sharpen those skills on more than just stationary targets. Born on Bastion, she has known the Empire all her life as the mother of them all, the blanket that secures and protects them from the Republican rubbish floating out there in the galaxy. Since she was old enough to understand the uniform, she trained her mind and body every day to wear one. While her brothers preferred the government as covert operatives, and negotiators, she was the school yard bully defending the weak and helpless. She knows that sometimes words fail… but show of strength never has. Her father is retired military, never made officer, but was leader of his squad for many years. He never sought metal on his shoulder, or on his dress uniform. He wanted to know he was doing something and not just talking. Her mother was a homemaker and proud service spouse. She endured long periods without the husband and father figure in the house but ran it like a true general, none the less. She never coddled Ellandra and actually encouraged her to follow her heart. Her mother had died giving birth to the one brother she still has at home. Her father retired early to help Ellandra’s next oldest brother rear the last of the family. Child five of six, she knew that dowries and lace wedding gowns weren’t in her future. Her father, wanting someone not to follow the family death march as he called it, bid her to stay, marry and support as a spouse. But she didn’t have it in her heart. She ran off the night before her betrothal announcement dinner to a local dignitary and joined the Imperial Army. She never looked back and doesn’t regret it. Her youngest brother, Tyrial, wants to break the streak and go into medicine. “The Empire is a shield against the Republic. We shield those unable to shield themselves.” She said in her interview. And she will do what she can to see that shield never falters.Family
