  • The Barrel House is a location from The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap. Found in the east side of the Minish Village, it is a large barrel that is hollowed out and serves as the home of numerous Forest Minish. In the game's beginning, Link is told by Festari to find a Jabber Nut in the Barrel House so that he can understand the Language of the Minish. Link finds the Jabber Nut in the bottom floor of the Barrel House and eats it. Later in the game, Link can return and give the Minish Researcher located in the bottom floor numerous ingredients, and he will use them on Picolyte plants, causing them to grow. Bringing the researcher ingredients is the only way that Link can obtain Blue, Orange, and Yellow Picolyte.
