Gerard Yorke Twisleton Wykeham Fiennes (18 July 1864 - 13 January 1926) was a journalist and author who was briefly a member of the London School Board. Following education at Winchester and New College, Oxford. His first job was as a tutor to the sons of the Rajah of Sarawak. In 1891 he began his career in journalism as assistant editor of the New Review. A resident of Bethnal Green, in November 1894 he was elected to the London School Board as a "Church Party" representative of Hackney. However he resigned in July 1897. Wikipedia page [1] refers.
