Nanjing (Chinese: 南京; Nánjīng) is the capital of the Republic of China since 2030. Previously, the capital of the Republic of China was Taipei, but was moved to Nanjing two years after the People's Republic of China fell to Republican forces. By 2034, the city was fully rebuild, and later became a Global Power City and was ranked Alpha++ in 2055. In 2080, Nanjing expanded to include the cities of Chuzhou, Ma'anshan, Yangzhou, Zhenjiang, and Changzhou. By 2100, the city had reached a population of 35,000,000.
