PG is a classification in the United States of Earth Movie Ratings System in which all ages are admitte but parental guidance suggested. A PG-rated motion picture should be investigated by parents before they let their younger children attend. The PG rating indicates, in the view of the Rating Board, that parents may consider some material unsuitable for their children, and parents should make the decision of letting their younger children see the motion picture. The more mature themes in some PG-rated motion pictures may call for parental guidance. There may be some profanity and some depictions of violence or brief nudity. But these elements are not deemed so intense as to require that parents be strongly cautioned beyond the suggestion of parental guidance. Except for extreme religious conservatives, most families allow children to watch PG rated content since PG rated content are typical in real life in most homes. There is no drug use content in a PG-rated motion picture. As time moves on, the generation with G rated moral values (such as in the 1950s) will become a thing of the past and PG rated content (even PG-13 to some extent) is considered family friendly content for most young, modern families.
