The Federal Register (FR or sometimes Fed. Reg.) is the official journal of the U.S. federal government that contains most routine publications and public notices of government agencies. It provides ready access to the official text of Federal laws, Presidential documents, and administrative regulations and notices. It is a daily (except holidays) publication. The "Federal Register" is compiled by the Office of the Federal Register (within the National Archives and Records Administration) and is printed by the Government Printing Office.
