Synopsis
| - Diana flees Decay, taking Julia and Venessa with her as the house collapses. Decay gloats and takes Diana's tiara for her own before flying off. Diana promises to find a cure for the prematurely aged Venessa and flies after Decay, but Decay is gone.
In Olympus, the gods watch with growing trepedation as Diana appears defeated in her first encounter. Unable to lend any further aid, they depart for Hades.
Etta breaks into the files at the base and finds evidence of the Ares Project and that Steve Trevor was being manipulated and set up. As she departs, the news shows the trouble in Boston, Decay is attacking the city. There is an update on the hunt for Steve Trevor.
Back in Boston, Diana finally faces off against Decay. Decay seems unstoppable, starting to age and weaken Diana who is unable to overpower her. Diana uses her lasso, binding Decay to the renewing Earth. This destroys decay and restores Diana.
As she recovers her tiara, Diana is set upon by a swarm of reporters. She flees.
Deimos punishes Phoebos for his failure and rash attack on the Amazonian princess.
The newspapers dub Diana with her hero name, Wonder Woman. Steve Trevor sees it and realizes she is the one who saved him and brought him back. He and Etta go to find her, but they are followed. Diana goes to Julia. They retreat to Julia's "winter home" to try and decipher the disk she recovered from Ares daughter. Diana spots Trevor and disarms him. Before they can talk, though, Etta cries out. Trevor and Diana find her unconscious, Col. Matthew Michaelis standing over her with a gun.
