Tropical Storm Átilio originally formed as a disturbance in the Pacific, but developed into a tropical depression in the Atlantic area of responsibility. Átilio became a tropical storm west of the Florida Keys and began moving towards Florida as it strengthened, and intensified over central Florida, developing an eye structure as it hit 70mph. Soon after, the system started to deteriorate as it moved over water.
