Spidermonkeys, also known as Treadmonkeys, Hagsmonkeys, Sealmonkeys, Crowmonkeys, Snowflake Monkeys, and Snowmonkeys are the only monkeys native to the Delklands, inhabiting the Hagsrock on the Hagsloch of Snowflake Isle. Spidermonkeys are larger than other monkeys, with long black limbs, white hands and feet, and long prehensile tails ending at three points. They are good climbers, great at throwing, and strong swimmers. They are just as, if not more, clever than Kneypish monkeys. They organize into bands of twenty to forty, and are led by a matriarch who is distinguished by a long snowy beard.

Spidermonkeys are larger than other monkeys, with long black limbs, white hands and feet, and long prehensile tails ending at three points. They organize into bands of twenty to forty, and are led by a matriarch who is distinguished by a long snowy beard. They carve sleeping holes into the caves, and long-spent mines of the Hagsrock using stone tools. They hunt with them, too, and build traps for hares, squirrels, and even fish to stumble into. They communicate in chitterings which are not quite tongues, and seem to worship ice owls, and revile eagles. During winters, they come down from the Rock to Flakeytown where they act as domesticated pets to humankind. One of the spidermatriarchs, Houndsmount Gookabba is known to ride about town on the back of her own pet dog, a big spotted thing.
