  • The Imperial Senate is the legislative body of the Imperial Dominion of Prussia. One hundred Senators, one from each district of Prussia, are democratically elected by the citizens every two years. These Senators represent the people and their needs in each district through the creation and repeal of legislation. While the Senate does have legislative power, the Chief of General Staff has the power to veto decisions made by it. If necessary, he may also choose to suspend it. The Imperial Senate is maintained by the Senate Chairman, currently Heinrich Kern. He is responsible for the communication between the Senate and the Council of Ministers, and he signs bills that have been passed in the Senate, sending them to the Chief of General Staff.
