His abilities are nullified by Ikki's null wind ability and his sword is shattered by one of Ikki's kicks. They then chicken race from plane fragment, trying to reach the helicopter first. Loki calls for a pincher attack against Ikki with Freya but he finds her unconscious from Onigiri's trick, plummeting towards the water. He forfeits the match to save her and he along with the rest of Sleipner, realize they just want to fly in the sky. They then head off to a bar to celebrate, commenting that that would be their first experiece in one.
