- John Johnson is a reporter during the time Cell was absorbing people. He appeared in the episode Our Hero Awakes. After reporter Barry Walters was done with his report, he went back to John Johnson (though he said he was going back to someone named Roy). John told everyone to stay safe and be prepared. Cell, who had just absorbed a gunman and was watching the report at the time, responded by kicking the TV, shattering its screen. From Dragon Ball Wiki, a Wikia wiki.

He was apart of Genesis pro for a short time before leaving the company for disclosed reasons before it closed half-way through February, 2007. In late 2007, he agreed to resign with UGP after they decided to reopen there doors a short time ago (April 2007). He's also been part of federations such as RCW, XWR, and VCW. Johnson was a 6’7” Small forward who played high school basketball at Messmer High School, (Milwaukee, Wisconsin) and collegiately for Northwest College in Powell, Wyoming and for the University of Iowa. Johnson set an Iowa record for points in a season during his senior year, when he averaged 27.9 points per game. He is also credited with being the first Point forward. His son, Mitch, is a sophomore on the Stanford University basketball team.

Johnson was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the 7th pick of the 1970 NBA Draft. He went on to have a productive twelve-year NBA career with four teams, making two NBA appearances and scoring 11,200 career points. He also won an NBA ring as a key contributor for the 1978-1979 Seattle SuperSonics, where he was reunited with former Iowa Hawkeye teammate Fred Brown (basketball). He is also credited with being the first Point forward. His son, Mitch, is a sophomore on the Stanford University basketball team.
