Sarah was born and raised in Benson, Idaho. A true home-town spirit, she never felt a wanderlust to explore outside the small community or leave to make her way in the world. Her desires were simple ones - to marry and continue in the Gibson tradition of ranching on the 100 acre land that had been in the family for generations. Sarah's mother died three years ago after being stricken with cancer. Her father died the following year in a ranch accident. Image:Sarah2.jpg

  • Sarah was born and raised in Benson, Idaho. A true home-town spirit, she never felt a wanderlust to explore outside the small community or leave to make her way in the world. Her desires were simple ones - to marry and continue in the Gibson tradition of ranching on the 100 acre land that had been in the family for generations. Sarah ran tame on the acreage that would one day pass to her stewardship and she loved the land, her spirit tied deeply and completely to her home. It was on the ranch she learned to ride, to shoot, to doctor sick animals and injured ranch hands. By the time Sarah was eight years old, she was riding fence-line with her father and his men and camping out under the stars on three-day trail rides. The Gibson place was far enough out of town that Sarah didn't have many friends in Benson. Two of the few were Chase Haas and Daniel Stark. Sarah was tomboy enough in her youth to be accepted into their mischievous antics and even instigated a few hijinx herself. The friendship suffered as they entered into their teen years; Sarah took on more responsibility at home and the boys' adventures were no longer so innocent. After a rough falling-out, Sarah put her childhood away and focused on getting through highschool. A year after graduation and a whirlwind courtship, Sarah married a towner from Twin Falls named Rick Monroe. They built a house on the ranch and set up housekeeping. Rick never did take to ranch life but he was very supportive of the family tradition, even giving up his job as an accountant in Twin Falls. Now six years into the marriage, Rick has long since revealed himself as an abusive alcoholic. His controlling behavior and jealousy now keeps Sarah confined to the property, unable to even drive into town unaccompanied for necessities. Though it infuriates Rick that Sarah has so far been proven unable to have children, she herself is secretly grateful that a child should never been brought into a world with Rick as its father. Sarah's mother died three years ago after being stricken with cancer. Her father died the following year in a ranch accident. Image:Sarah2.jpg
