I expanded it, and added that the first thing users should do when they get into an edit war is to refer to the style guide for the solution. After all, many edit wars are just stubborn fights which could be resolved in a second by simply scanning the style guide. I put Whip's method as the alternative in the case of no other solution. Should we protect policy pages? People could still suggest additions/clarifications on their talk pages. They're pretty important, like the MediaWiki pages.
