The Flying Ship is an aircraft used by the Great Rebellion to fly to Beast Island. When He-Man was captured by Force Captain Adora, Madame Razz used a magic spell to figure out where the Evil Horde had taken the most powerful man in the universe. When they learned the location was Beast Island, Bow remembered rumors of a prison there. Bow, Kowl, Glimmer, Battle Cat and Broom all boarded the ship and set off for Beast Island, with Madame Razz herself steering her creation. Broom was especially pleased at not having to fly all the way to Beast Island himself.

  • The ships don't seem to carry a power source of their own, instead relying on power distribution towers and the Center of Power in the Spellbinder castle in order to fly. When any of these are disrupted or destroyed, the ships don't have enough of their own power to land, and simply fall to the ground. Similarily, if the operator is incapacitated in flight, or if their power suit is damaged or destroyed, the ship will also lose flight abilities.

  • The Flying Ship is an aircraft used by the Great Rebellion to fly to Beast Island. When He-Man was captured by Force Captain Adora, Madame Razz used a magic spell to figure out where the Evil Horde had taken the most powerful man in the universe. When they learned the location was Beast Island, Bow remembered rumors of a prison there. Since the Rebellion did not have any flying craft, unlike the Horde's Flyers, Madame uttered another spell to conjure up a "Frying Ship". Realizing her mistake when a vehicle appeared that was part ship, part frying pan, she quickly amended her magic and transformed the Frying Ship into a more manageable Flying Ship. Bow, Kowl, Glimmer, Battle Cat and Broom all boarded the ship and set off for Beast Island, with Madame Razz herself steering her creation. Broom was especially pleased at not having to fly all the way to Beast Island himself. When the ship was almost at it's destination, a Horde Flyer appeared piloted by Hordak himself and Shadow Weaver. Hordak had great in shooting the Rebels craft out of the sky. Burning, the ship crashed onto the island, but Glimmer managed to save all the passengers using her teleportation powers. However, the strain of teleporting six living beings including herself had completely tired her out. As the Rebels had no time to rest, Battle Cat offered to carry Glimmer on his back on their way to rescue He-Man.

Similarily, if the operator is incapacitated in flight, or if their power suit is damaged or destroyed, the ship will also lose flight abilities. The ships seem to have at least basic aerodynamic properties - when they lose power, they don't just drop to the ground (as their bulky size would suggest), but instead sort of glide to the crash.
