Scotty Gallin (May 31, 1960 - August 25, 2001) was an American actor and bodyguard who made his first TV appearance as Julio, one of Octavio Escondero's men in the episode "Jack of All Trades" of the series Miami Vice. Gallin was noted for being the bodyguard of such singers as Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin, and Aaliyah, with whom he perished in a plane crash on August 25, 2001, near Marsh Harbour, Bahamas, at the age of 41.
