Arriving at a nameless planet, Storm is confronted by Frieza's top soldiers, Zarbon and Dodoria, but Storm manages to defeat them, before Frieza himself prepares to face Storm in battle. Storm is largely outclassed by Frieza's outstanding power, and is nearly killed before narrowly escaping from Frieza by blinding him with a huge smokescreen and escapes from the planet and later lands on Planet Namek. Being rescued by the Namekians, Storm suffers a change of personality; becoming kinder and gentler with others, and learns about the existence of the Dragon Balls and has three wishes granted before leaving the planet and arrives on Earth and after spending some time on the planet, Storm is suddenly teleported away from the planet. Arriving at a never-seen before place, Storm witnesses Shenron disappearing and the Dragon Balls being scattered. Storm meets Future Trunks and after a brief spar match, Storm and Trunks introduce each other and Trunks explains about the Time Patrol and convinces Storm into joining them to protect history from evil beings wanting to destroy it.
