Garland Herbert "Herb" Adair (30 July 1898 – 11 December 2009) was an American supercentenarian who was at death, one of the last three surviving males born in the 1800s and was the second living man in the United States behind the 113 years-old Walter Breuning and over-all the 3rd oldest in the world (behind Jiroemon Kimura and Walter Breuning.). He was the last surviving male born in 1898. He died at age 111 years, 134 days.

He was the last surviving male born in 1898. He died at age 111 years, 134 days. He was born on 30 July 1898 in Hatfield, Harrison County, Missouri, as the son of Charles and Julia Adair; he had a brother and three sisters. He had a banking career, he worked at Bethany Trust Co. and resigned as the Executive Vice President in 1969. He married Edith Underwood (1900-1983) in 1922 and they remained married until her death. He was survived by his son Charles, three grandchildren: Katherine, Kelly and Karin, and three great-grandchildren: Alex, Alexandra and Margo.
