"Fenimore Cooper's Literary Offenses" is an article by Mark Twain drubbing the Leatherstocking series by James Fenimore Cooper. The text of the essay can be found here. It is an excellent example of how a sporking should be conducted, and agents are encouraged to read it and reflect on their procedures. As far as we know, Mark Twain is/was not a member of the PPC.
