The Mill is a visual effects company based in London. They were responsible for creating the CGI for Series 4 and Series 5 filling in the role of Framestore who created the CGI for the previous series of Primeval. The Mill did not return for the spin-off series Primeval: New World, Atmosphere Visual Effects creating the CGI for the show instead. After the series was over, The Mill reused the Raptor/Swimming Theropod model they had created for Episode 5.3 in the episode "Dinosaurs on a Spaceship" of the BBC series Doctor Who and the finale of Impossible Pictures' series Sinbad.

| - Ledon: The wind mill provides us with a solid source of food. The soils in our realm are fertile, a gift from the ancestors for our honourable actions against the tyranny and greed of our enemies.
The mill worker needs help, but everybody here has their own chores and don't always have time for it.
Could you go to the mill, south of the village and see what you can do for her?
Meia Tir: I have worked this mill all of my life, but it is hard work, sometimes too hard for just one person.
I am glad to get help, especially with the crops. The mill must be kept working constantly if it is to provide the entire village with food and water.
The work is not difficult. You just have to get into the wheat field, to the south, harvest 8 Mature Spikes and throw them into the mill, for their use.
Meia Tir: That saved me considerable work. Now I just have to put the mill to work and get the grain back to the village. Maybe you could make me one last favour and take it, if you are to go there next.
Ledon: Thanks for helping with the crops. The villagers' survival is not just up to the war's outcome, but to the satisfaction of their daily needs.
