Tyler Larter (born March 12, 1968 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island) is a retired ice hockey centre. He played in one NHL game for the Washington Capitals. He played junior hockey with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds from 1984 to 1988. The Washington Capitals chose him 78th overall in the 1987 NHL Entry Draft. Larter turned pro with the Baltimore Skipjacks in 1988-89. The next year he was called up to the Capitals for one game. After then playing in the minor pros for two more years, Larter moved to Europe. He played in Austria, Italy, and Great Britain before retiring in 1994.
