Louis Cameron Gossett Jr. (born May 27, 1936) is an American actor. He is best known in the film An Officer and a Gentleman, which he won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. He appeared in others such as The Skin Game, Enemy Mine and The Punisher.
