abstract
| - This storage chest can be found in Diamond Treasure Chests and more rarely also in other kinds of Treasure Chests, it can also be obtained from certain creatures like Things (either by killing them or harvesting from them when they are Pets), and this chest can also be crafted in your Crafting Menu (opened by typing "q" as the default key) or at Crafting Tables (that still exist in older worlds). To craft Grand Arctek Chests, you will have to unlock the crafting-recipe first, which happens if you take or craft an "ordinary" Arctek Chest for the first time - the crafting-recipe for this is unlocked by taking Arcstone/s. To craft 1 Grand Arctek Chest, you'll need (as of R26 in December 2015):
* 1 Glob of Goo made from Mold in a Processor or looted/harvested from many creatures including Pigsies
* 1 Stone Rod made of Stone, Limestone or Bedrock in a Processor or found in Stone Treasure Chests
* 4 Arcstones obtained from Keepas of any kind (either as loot or pet-harvest) or very rarely found in Wood Treasure Chests
* 4 Stone Slabs made of Stone, Limestone or Bedrock in a Processor To use chests you'll have to place them into the world (they have the size of one block and don't need free space above them to be opened) and then activate them by right-clicking or typing "f" (as the default key) when looking at them. You can put whole stacks of items into chests by either dragging and dropping with the left mouse-button or by using right-click on the stuff in the inventory or quickslots. If you hold a stack of stuff with your left mouse-button and then right-click over a slot of a storage-container, this will drop only one piece into the container. Holding the left ctrl-key and right-clicking should also move only one item. Holding the left shift key and using left click to drag will move half a stack. Holding left shift key and right-clicking will move 5 items. Same goes for moving stuff from the storage into the inventory of course. To can take Grand Arctek Chests that are placed in the world you have to at first empty them, then equip a Stone Mining Cell or better to pull them. Taking them from storages, loot bags or Treasure Chests of course does not require any Power Cells. Initially, ordinary Arctek Chests used to have less storage slots (only 20) and so Grand Arctek Chests had been the largest chests for quite some time. With Release 14 on 2015-04-08 most chests got granted more slots because of players' wishes. Unfortunately the ingame-UI based on Unity prevented instant addition of more than 24 slots to the Grand Arctek Chest. The developers are planning to eventually make Grand Arctek Chests larger in the future (possibly 28 slots), but will have to put quite some work into that, while other issues are more urgent, so these plans have to be postponed for a little longer.
