The album was produced by Robert O'Connor together with Steve Hogan and Mourad Bouchiba in Dublin and Amsterdam during 2006 and 2007, except for "Ten Years Time", which was produced by Billy Farrell in 2005. "Spend The Night/Ten Years Time" was the first single, a double A-side, from the album, released on November 3, 2006 in Ireland and on October 30, 2006 in the UK as a digital-only release. The single missed the Irish Top 40 Singles chart, entering at #56. The second single, "How Many Times (Can We Say Goodbye?)" will be released on March 31, 2008 as a digital-only single. The track received its first play on UK radio on February 1, 2008 on Matchbox Radio 24. The album also contains a duet with Moroccan singer-songwriter Aziza el Messaoudi, entitled "Killing Kind". O'Connor wrote eight out of ten tracks featured on the album, with the exceptions of "Ten Years Time" (written by UK singer Gabrielle and Jonathan Shorten), and "Killing Kind" (written by US singer Shelby Lynne).
