John Charles Horobin (1856 - 26 July 1902) was a college principal and Liberal Party politician. Born in Staffordshire, by 1885 he was living in Brixton in the Surrey suburbs of London. In that year he entered Emmanuel College, Cambridge, graduating BA in 1888 and MA in 1893. In 1890 he became principal of Homerton College, which trained school teachers. He was a member of the London School Board for six years, elected as one of the representatives for Hackney in 1891 and 1894.
