  • Title is a technical term that describes a part: the one responsible for the "right hand side of a weapon's name". It should not be confused with prefix. Titles come in many varieties, from the standard common ones, all the way up to the unique, legendary or even pearlescent titles.

  • A title is purple decorative text displayed above your character's name. Some titles increase HP, Defense or Attack and some are required to unlock levels beyond 61. Other titles are purely decorative. To change your title and see which are available to you, open your Status window by pressing Ctrl + A.

The captain is the only crew member who can change their own title. A pirate's title is displayed along with his or her rank on the pirate info page.
