The Pacific Northwest Yo-Yo Championships, or PNW, is the US National Yo-Yo League's official yo-yo competition for Washington State. Organized by Nathan Crissey, it has been held annually in Seattle since 2005. In 2007 there were approximately fifty competitors, when there had been only thirty the year before, making it one of the quickest growing competitions in the nation. As the contest that was the Washington State Contest has become the Pacific Northwest Regional Championships, the Washington State Contest is currently on hiatus until a new contest director takes it over.
