| - I think there's something like... defect in the nomination rules. A user who notably contributed in a particular time, such as on March, will be nominated as a Featured Editor. They however might remain in the nomination table if they're not featured, and might eventually until December. Between that time, that user might no longer be very active, like on June, but they're still nominated for no apparent reason on December. It, like, doesn't make any sense that they're featured on December when they might have been "forgotten". How do you think if we change some rules in this kind of situation? Currently, I'm questioning about Vss2eip's nomination since he is no longer active. Nikel Talk 05:19, May 25, 2012 (UTC)

Nikel Talk 05:19, May 25, 2012 (UTC) Interesting...I'd say that a user who hasn't been active for say 3 months(-ish) would be somewhat ineligible to be nominated/featured. It's kind of silly for someone to be featured and that they never find out about it. Users who don't regularly edit, but are still active and appear on some occasions (I can note The Black Scorpion for example) are still valid for nominations. That's what I think.
