The TIE Hammer was originally made from spare parts of TIE Fighters and TIE Bombers, but the class quickly became renowned throughout the Astragon Empire as heavy-hitters. Their heavy armament lived up to that reputation. Still, the Hammer was a bit strange. Its wing struts are from Sienar's original T.I.E. Starfighter. A Horizontal strut connected the two, and three TIE Bomber Bomb bays were attached to this strut; one on top, the other two on the bottom.
