| - The Thrikshaar (Thrikshaar: {#ccff80#ff80cc}), known as the Sawpetals to most humans, are a sentient species of flower-like people native to Horrible Huron Planet 3. The Thrikshaar are not a particularly large group of people, with only about 20,000 individuals being known about, mostly living in the so-called Thrikwood, a haunted mushroom forest which strengthens innate psychic powers. They separate into five tribes: the Yyyathnan, the Ralk, the Uyukmrng, the Therulk, and the Rulkathang. These names were assigned to them by the Urklathans, a tree-like sapient people also native to the planet. Seeing that Thrikshaar spoke in colors, they assigned letters to each color, giving us these names.

The Thrikshaar have flower petal-like mouths, with rows of sharp venomous teeth. They have one large eye made up of several smaller eye-like structures. It is located within their mouth, and also allows them to see out the back of their heads. They watch their food digest, as their digestive systems are very delicate and can only handle certain types of food. They live off their sun {#eeeedd#ffffff#eeeedd}, and only need to eat roughly every forty days. When eating, they tend to crawl backwards. They are deaf, and cannot understand verbal communication. Instead, they have a complex body language, can quickly change the color of their tightly muscled stalks, produce flashes from anthers located around their bodies, and can quickly vibrate, or slowly rattle harder more wood-like parts of their anatomy. As a result of this, their vision is much, much better than that of any type of alien. They have six different color receptors, can see infrared, radiation, and are actually able to visualize sound (though they cannot parse or actually "hear" it). Their eyes assign colors to smells, allowing them to "see" scent trails. More than that, they can actually "see" psychic activity, meaning that just about all of them are powerful mind-readers. Because of this, they are mistrustful of outsiders, as outsiders are capable of "lying," an entirely foreign concept to them. Like Urklathans, they can "see" the future.
