Then, she saw what he was chasing after: a 15-year-old girl named Lisa Nibley who had been swept away by the current while swimming. She then grabbed onto him and he took her safely back to shore. Neither she nor Annette are certain how he was able to save her, but they are both glad that he was there to help. • Norman is the main villain of Disney's Marsupilami cartoon series - a large and mean-spirited human male who plays the part of anything from a common bully to a smuggler or even a witch (in a parody of the Wizard Of Oz). • He is similar in many ways to the legendary Disney villain Pete in his mannerism and wide array of villainous alter-egoes but is much more madcap to fit in with Marsupilami's decidedly wacky plots and humor - this may very well of been intentional as one of the episodes has Norman (in the role of a smuggler) cruising in a steam-boat in a similiar manner to how Pete and Mickey Mouse first encountered in "Steamboat Mickey" - though Pete was not a blatant criminal at that point, unlike Norman. The varied roles Norman has played in the series are as follows:
  • In 2268, Harry Mudd, who became stranded on the planet which he named after himself, sent Norman to capture a Federation starship so that he could leave the planet in exchange for the vessel's crew. Norman left the planet and, posing as a Starfleet sciences division lieutenant, signed aboard the USS Enterprise. To keep his android nature from being discovered, he skipped two appointments Doctor Leonard McCoy made for his physical without giving a reason, something which McCoy found suspicious. Norman was played by Richard Tatro, with stunts performed by Loren Janes.
  • In 2267, Harry Mudd became stranded on the android's planet and found that the local inhabitants were willing to obey his will and serve him in all ways possible. While "Lord" Mudd initially enjoyed himself, he soon became weary of being stranded forever on the planet, and hatched a plan for escape. He sent Norman to capture a Federation starship so that he could leave and have the starship's crew replace him.
