Originally an athlete Man-Killer was badly injured while trying to silence a male chauvinist who claimed he could beat any woman - after recovering Man-Killer obtained an exoskeleton that greatly enhanced her strength and became embittered towards males in general. This would ultimately lead to her adopting the persona of "Man-Killer" and her involvement in violent feminism - however despite her continual violence towards males she has been known to work for them, prompting the hero Hellcat to label her a fraud as she is an accomplice to the males she professes to hate.
