Chemical Warfare is the third album from American thrash metal band Chemical Asphyxiation; released on October 17th 1987 via K.I.L.L Records. It is the last album to feature Nick Martinez on guitars and Rob Crete on bass; who both left in December 1987. Ironically both Martinez and Crete have writing credits on the album. The album also marked a lyrical change from violence to more political issues that would become staple for the band. It is preceded by 1984's Pure Evil and followed by 1989's Frozen To Death.

- Chemical warfare (CW) involves using the toxic properties of chemical substances as weapons. This type of warfare is distinct from nuclear warfare and biological warfare, which together make up NBC, the military acronym for nuclear, biological, and chemical (warfare or weapons), all of which are considered "weapons of mass destruction" (WMDs). None of these fall under the term conventional weapons which are primarily effective due to their destructive potential. With proper protective equipment, training, and decontamination measures, the primary effects of chemical weapons can be overcome. Many nations possess vast stockpiles of weaponized agents in preparation for wartime use. The threat and the perceived threat have become strategic tools in planning both measures and counter-measures.

- Chemical Warfare is incredibly hard to beat for drummers and guitarists in one run. The drum beat is extremely fast, and the guitar chart consists of alt-strumming until your wrists break, then solos akin to One that literally come out from nowhere. The bass is equally wrist breaking; vocalists however will get an easy ride. The drums may seem simple, but when the outro comes, steel yourself for a cascade of red and green. It is one of the hardest songs in the game, and will need pauses to stop strains and sprains to your wrist.
