Gdy Aragorn podjął marsz do Czarnej Bramy wysłał oddział młodych ludzi z Rohanu i Lossarnach, którzy z odzyskali wyspę (24.03.3019 TE).

It was of paramount importance to Gondor during the long war with Mordor in order to prevent the enemy from crossing the river and entering into Anórien.
