James Korby was a Lance Corporal who was also the murder victim in Code of Conduct (episode). NCIS Medical Examiner Dr. Donald Mallard later discovered that Korby had been force-fed liquid nitrogen and when he attempted to get a breath in, the nitrogen had closed Korby's airways, essentially causing Korby to suffocate to death. It was discovered that Korby's stepdaughter was actually the one responsible for his death, not Sara Korby as Anthony DiNozzo had originally believed.
