The D-7C vessels were commonly modified and refit to the specifications of the D7L-class K't'inga vessels. Vessels of this type were commonly named for poetic interpretations of killings, usually translating with the world "slayer". (ST video game: Starfleet Command) One variation is the Fire Blossom, which was named for Kaden's spectacular killing of a rival attack cruiser with a carefully timed triggering of a solar eruption.
