Thae-bok Jon was part of the secret police for the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. His main role was being a paperboy. He and two other agents, Yong-jun Kim and Sok-ju Yang, were tasked with investigating the international black market for sales of the Omega Strain virus. North Korea was attempting to buy it from Mikhas Ivankov, and Thae-bok Jon was observed by Agency operatives in Sanaa, Yemen looking to negotiate with Anatoly Yushchenko or even the corrupt official Fatha Al-Hassan. Jon was targeted for assassination and killed silently without reporting to his superiors.
