Attero Templum is the fifth studio album from Norwegian black metal/technical death metal band Nocturna, released on January 15th 2001, just a year after 2000's Sarcalogos Dico Pro Ultionis, of which it is regarded as a continuation, despite Sarcalogos Dico Pro Ultionis sounding like the technical death metal-Diabolus Quod Suus Angelusand Attero Templum returning to the more black metal orientation of the original album Deus Contemno Letalis. Vocalist Nocturna Sublimina Sepulturum has gone on to explain the band's two shifting sounds, and has labelled them "techical black metal". Attero Templum is followed by 2003's Inconcessus Per Vestri Filiolus.
