abstract	Jeren Keteris was a Human Sith Lord active during the time of the resurgent Sith Empire. Born on Telos IV thirty-four years prior to the Treaty of Coruscant, he was discovered by a Sith operative and taken to Korriban to train at the Sith Academy after the murder of his parents. On Korriban, he trained under Sith Overseers and became a Sith Apprentice after catching the eye of the Sith Lord Darth Aranth. Taken to the capital of Dromund Kaas by his Sith Master, Jeren began to do Aranth's bidding, performing extensive missions that took him across the galaxy. His travels took him to planets such as Coruscant, Kashyyyk and Ziost. Influenced by his master's obession with Sith artifacts and Sith alchemy, Jeren became obsessed with Sith lore himself. Influenced by discoveries concerning the Golden Age of the Sith and Darth Revan's empire, Jeren longed to usher in another Golden Age for the Sith. With the Cold War and, later, the Galactic War, Jeren attempted to kill his master in his quarters on Dromund Kaas but failed. Despite having fled, he took on the title of Darth himself. During both the Cold War and Galactic War, he played roles in battles against the Galactic Republic. His scheme for galactic dominance and control attracted the attention of a sect of Jedi Shadows, who set out to thwart him. This "shadow war" between him, his small faction of Sith, and the sect of Jedi took place primarily in the Unknown Regions, away from rest of the galaxy.
