Olaminium is the name given by the IUPAC to the stable isotope of Element 114 created by Dr. A. Olaminia and his team at the Mafaa-3 orbital station on Io. Olaminium shares many properties with Lead, the two being in the same period on the periodic table. Its extreme density made it an ideal radiation shield and it is also being considered as a replacement for depleted uranium in military munitions. In the Trinity Era, olaminium has no use in biotechnology and cannot be incorporated in biotech devices.[#endnote_AB]

Olaminium is still rather difficult to produce, and so its supply remains quite limited. Various nations pay incredible sums to reserve quantities of the material yet-to-be-produced, usually in the form of alloys with other metals such as steel and titanium.[#endnote_AA] In the Trinity Era, olaminium has no use in biotechnology and cannot be incorporated in biotech devices.[#endnote_AB]
