The Levitus clan is a powerful clan in the Hidden Leaf Village, it was formed around a decade before the destruction of the Uchiha clan and because of that hasn't had much attention. Its members specialize from birth in Wind and Lightning Elements, hence the name Levitus which is derrived from the latin word for lightning. The Levitus clan has a DNA trait very similar to that of the Uchiha, for this reason Orochimaru, around the time of the Uchiha massacre, studied the members of the clan. He was able to find a young child who possessed Dojutsu with the same or similar abilities to the Sharingan, but this dojutsu was even more powerful than the Sharingan, it allowed the user to see as well as the Byakugan, copy and see jutsu at slower rates as well as sight in areas that are sheer dark. Its members specialize from birth in Wind and Lightning Elements, hence the name Levitus which is derrived from the latin word for lightning. The Levitus clan has a DNA trait very similar to that of the Uchiha, for this reason Orochimaru, around the time of the Uchiha massacre, studied the members of the clan. He was able to find a young child who possessed Dojutsu with the same or similar abilities to the Sharingan, but this dojutsu was even more powerful than the Sharingan, it allowed the user to see as well as the Byakugan, copy and see jutsu at slower rates as well as sight in areas that are sheer dark. Last, this special dojutsu allowed the User to memorize everything that the user has seen (similar to photographic memory). He gave one of them the cursed seal, but left believing that the kid died. The Levitus Clan members were helped by Kakashi to develop their own version of the Lightning Blade, this is known as Kirai which took around 5 months to master. The Levitus clan's location is very close to the Valley of the End where Madara Uchiha and Hashirama Senju had their final struggle against each other, the victor was the First Hokage! The reason for the location of the clan is due to the fact that its blood was dirrectly linked to that of Madara Uchiha's as well as linked to The Sage of Sixth Paths. (this explains the Rinnegan dojutsu that one of its members has).
