Alan Ernest Devonshire (born April 13, 1956), is a former English footballer who is currently manager of non-league side Maidenhead United. Devonshire played as a midfielder and made his name at West Ham United. He also played for the national England team, winning eight caps. He finished his playing career at Watford. During his managerial career, he had a successful spell at Maidenhead United F.C.. On 23 May 2011, Devonshire was appointed the manager of newly-promoted Conference National club Braintree Town.
