Sciz is a member of the ZNG and the leader of the MHNG subgroup, which is dedicated to all things Monster Hunter. His body, mind, and soul are all comprised of an impenetrable steel; due to this, he spends much of his spare time hunting down other creatures with bodies comprised of similar substances. When he finds a creature that is actually made of steel, he captures it in a deceptively roomy orb and befriends it. Should a beast not made of steel be unfortunate enough to cross his path, he will likely strike it dead with his Switch Axe and carve materials from its corpse.

Sciz insists on letting his pet Aggron live in the group's hideout, the Zol Nesting Grounds. The presence of this large monster is a rightful cause for paranoia amongst the other ZNGers, as Justin86 almost had his hand bitten off when he made the mistake of looking the beast in the eye. Sciz has done his best to assure the group that his Aggron was merely uncomfortable around the new faces and that such a danger will not be posed in the future.
